Netscape Messenger 4.0

  1. Run Netscape Communicator
  2. Click on Edit
  3. Click on Preferences
  4. Click on Mail and Groups
  5. Click on Identity
  6. Fill in your real name and email address
  7. Click on Mail Server
  8. Type next to Mail server user name your user name
  9. Enter the correct mail server addresses as listed below:


    		Incoming POP Server Outgoing SMTP Server
    Switch Online Mail Servers: mail.switchol.com smtp.switchol.com

  10. Click on More Options
  11. Put a check next to Remember my mail password (if desired)
  12. Click OK. Click OK again.

    To set up another "User Profile" (multiple accounts)
  1. From your desktop click on Start
  2. Click on Programs
  3. Click on Netscape Communicator
  4. Click on Utilities
  5. Click on User Profile Manager
  6. Cick on New Button and then follow the directions

    To Setup "You Have Mail" notification in Task Bar
  1. From your desktop click on Start
  2. Click on Programs
  3. Click on Netscape Communicator
  4. Click on Utilities
  5. Click on Netscape Mail Notification
