Windows CE

  1. Before starting, make sure the a/c adapter is plugged in (recommended) and your modem is plugged in.
  2. Click on Start, and then Programs.
  3. Double tap on the Communications Icon.
  4. Double tap Remote Networking.
  5. Double tap on Make a New Connection.
  6. Enter in Switch Online as the name for the connection, and make sure Dial-Up Connection is selected as the connection type, click Next.
  7. Enter the Switch Online access number that is local for you in the telephone number box. For a list of numbers Click here. Uncheck the box that says "Use country code and area code".
  8. Click on TCP/IP Settings.
  9. Make sure the box next to "Server-assigned IP address" is checked
  10. Uncheck the box next to "Log on to Network"
  11. Uncheck the box next to "Server-assigned name server addresses"
  12. In the Primary DNS box type: 12.26.83.2
  13. In the Secondary DNS box type: 12.26.83.3
  14. Tap Ok
  15. Tap Finish
  16. Double tap the "Switch Online" icon.
  17. Type in your User name: and Password:, Please Note: You must add @switchol.com to your username. Your username should now read like an email address, with all lowercase letters and no spaces.
  18. You are now ready to connect to the internet.
